So, while I took this photo, I was actually taking photographs of a bunch of other people that were in the crowd at the moment. But when I looked to my left, there was this young girl sort of elevated above everybody else - very strong, very serious... You can feel her, you know? With her fist in the air... you definitely felt her.

But I made the image black-and-white with her in color just to show how long we've been fighting social injustice - you know, since cameras were black-and-white back in the day all the way 'til now: full color - just to kinda show, like, how much time has passed or the duration of how long we've been fighting - you know - all this.
