June 6th, 2020, the day after Breonna Taylor's birthday.

New Yorkers gather together, galvanized and strengthened by our shared frustration for the treatment of Black and brown people and the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and countless other Black lives.

We marched throughout neighborhoods in Brooklyn with signs, horns, pots and pans to voice our shared frustration, finally making it past *rows* of police officers in the crossing [of] the Brooklyn Bridge where this photo was finally taken.

In solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement, we let our voices be heard and said the names of the voices that were silenced.
